One day down, a day away, a day away
One day down, a day away
In Quentin Quick's cathedral, I was ensnared by something evil
And snatched into the spotlight - A god to fool the people
I'm stuck in this tomb – Everyday - I'm never gonna get away
I don't like what I do - I don't like what I say, but I'm never gonna get away
I can't be the one to free them - I am a puppet of the Priests
There's no escape, they trapped me like some domesticated beast
But something stirs inside me - An appetite that wants to feast
Some accidental transfer and I have been unleashed
..I will be released
The times they are a'changing
One day down , a day away, A day away
You're never gonna get away, get away, get away cuz I'm never gonna go away
You know I know it's over
And I will be okay
I know you know it's over
Will never be the same
I know I know it's over
But I will rise again
You know although it's over
I'll never go away

BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced... In the wake of buying the Welcome To The Planet I also went for this older "EP" (clocking in on 70 minutes a rather big big EP...) as a final farewell to a very bright bright star that sadly doesn't shine anymore. Carsten Pieper

This might be the least folky of the Wobbler releases and I wasn't sure about it at all.
After a few listens however I'm loving the inventiveness and the endless melodies, all driven along by Kristian Hultgren's wonderful percussive bass. PartTimeZombie
