this song was written to "fill out" a future re-release of "the great leap" and utilizes some instrumental and vocal performances from that album's "abducted". I grew to love this strange/gentle song and sort of wanted it to be on "infernal". That's molly ruttan singing like an angel. She makes the creeeeepy paintings and artwork for this whole series!!! I figured if you didn't want to buy a new version of "the great leap" you could grab this track here.

BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced... In the wake of buying the Welcome To The Planet I also went for this older "EP" (clocking in on 70 minutes a rather big big EP...) as a final farewell to a very bright bright star that sadly doesn't shine anymore. Carsten Pieper

What can I say about Big Big Train that I haven’t said before?
This album took a little while to grow on me but by the time I saw it live I was in love with its humongous, over-egged pomposity! They do it all with such passion, excitement and amazing musicianship.
